Lignite briquettes are small blocks of sedimentary rock composed of 60% carbon.
They are fuels for fireplaces or wood-burning stoves to be used at night!
These briquettes are to be placed in your fireplace or stove fire during the night to keep embers until morning!
You will get a gentle warmth all night long while saving your firewood.
Indeed, by placing 4 to 6 lignite briquettes on your embers, they will allow you to maintain the embers until morning.
When you wake up, simply put a few blocks on the still-hot embers and your fire will restart!
Conditions of use
Lignite is a sedimentary rock (fossil of plant origin), it is an intermediate fuel between peat and coal.
Composed of about 60% carbon, it is crushed, dried and agglomerated into briquette form.
The Lower Heating Value (LHV) of dried lignite is around 20,000 kJ/kg; it easily replaces coal. Start by lighting your fire with wood, then place 2 or 3 lignite briquettes on the burning embers and set the air intake to maximum.
