Lignite briquettes are small blocks of sedimentary rock composed of 60% carbon.
These are fuels for fireplaces or wood-burning stoves to be used at night!
Place these briquettes in your fireplace or stove fire overnight and you will have embers until morning!
You will get gentle heat all night long while saving your firewood.
Indeed, by placing 4 to 6 lignite briquettes on your embers, they will keep the embers going until morning.
When you wake up, simply add a few more blocks to the still-hot embers and your fire will restart!
Conditions of Use
Lignite is a sedimentary rock (a fossil of plant origin), an intermediate fuel between peat and hard coal.
Composed of approximately 60% carbon, it is ground, dried, and agglomerated into briquette form.
The Lower Heating Value (LHV) of dried lignite is around 20,000 kJ/kg, and it easily replaces hard coal. Start by lighting your fire with wood, then place 2 or 3 lignite briquettes on the hot embers and set the air intake to maximum.
