Miscanthus in a nutshell: "Elephant Grass", "Eulalia" or "Chinese Reed", is a perennial herbaceous plant from the grass family native to Africa and Southeast Asia. Originating from swamps, slopes, and hillsides, it is a robust plant that is not susceptible to diseases or rodent attacks.
Its canes, harvested at the end of winter, contain less than 17% moisture, so they can be used as fuel without needing a drying period.
